Ordering
Can I come in and buy a part?
Yes, you can shop in-store, and we offer EFTPOS payment. However, we recommend placing an online order for local pick-up to avoid waiting in line.
Why can't I place a shipping order online?
For bulky parts or bulk orders, please use the "Create a quote in cart" button to receive a shipping quote. A commercial shipping address is recommended to reduce costs.
Can I change my order after receiving a confirmation email?
Once your order has been dispatched, we generally cannot modify, add, or remove items from your order.
Pick-up
Is pickup available for local customers?
Yes, local customers can pick up their orders from our warehouse located at Unit 5, 31 Gardens Drive, Willawong, QLD, 4110.
What do I need to bring with me to collect my order?
Your order confirmation is required to pick up your order. For 18+ items like spray paints & knives, you may be asked for ID/Proof of Age if purchasing any goods where local compliance requires.
Note: If your order is bulky, bring a friend.
What are the pickup hours?
Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM. We'll be closed on public holidays.
Can someone else pick up my order on my behalf?
Yes, someone else can pick up your order if they provide a copy of the order confirmation and a valid form of identification.
How long will it take for my order to be ready for pickup?
Orders are usually ready for pickup within 1 business hour after processing, depending on product availability. You will be notified once your order is ready.
Shipping
How long will delivery take within Australia?
Most items shipped from Brisbane will be delivered within 1-6 business days, depending on your location. Please allow an additional 1-2 business days for processing.
What couriers do you use for Australian delivery?
Fred Auto Parts uses several couriers for Australian deliveries, including:

Do you offer same-day or overnight delivery?
Yes, same-day or overnight delivery is available through Fastrider/Time Express for customers in Brisbane Metro and Gold Coast Metro areas.
Cut-off time: 10AM for same-day delivery; 3PM for overnight delivery
How long will international delivery take?
International orders dispatched from Sydney typically take:
  • TNT Air Express: 3-5 days (Tracking available - PO Boxes are not accepted)
  • Au Post - Express Air International: 5-12 days (tracking available for most countries)
  • Au Post - Standard Air International: 7-21 days (tracking available for most countries)
Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
Warranty
What is the warranty period for products sold by Fred Auto Parts?
Most products sold by Fred Auto Parts come with a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. For KINFOR products, the warranty extends to 24 months or 40,000 km. For more details, please refer to the Warranty & Returns page.
What does the warranty cover?
During the warranty period, Fred Auto Parts will replace or refund, at their discretion, any part that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use after proper installation. For more details, please refer to the Warranty & Returns page.
Return
How to apply for a return?
To apply for a return, please email the reason for the return along with related evidence, such as images or other documents, to support@fredauto.com.au. For more details, please refer to the Warranty & Returns page.
What is your return policy?
Fred Auto Parts accepts returns within 30 days of the original purchase if you have made a mistake or changed your mind. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. For more details, please refer to the Warranty & Returns page.
