Shipping and Delivery

Fred Auto Parts offers shipping across Australia and selected international destinations. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location, courier network conditions, peak periods, weather events and stock availability.

1. Order Processing Time

Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Processing times may be longer where:

  • an item is temporarily out of stock;
  • additional confirmation is required;
  • the order contains oversized or fragile items; or
  • the shipping address requires a custom freight quote.

2. Australian Delivery

Most items shipped from Brisbane are usually delivered within 1–6 business days, depending on the delivery location.

  • Couriers Please
  • Toll / Team Global Express
  • TNT / FedEx
  • Northline
  • Hunter Express
  • Fast Rider / Time Express
  • other freight providers selected by Fred Auto Parts where appropriate

For urgent deliveries, overnight or same-day options may be available for selected areas. Please contact our team before ordering if urgent delivery is required.

3. Local Delivery Services

For selected Brisbane Metro and nearby service areas, local delivery options may be available.

These services may include:

  • same-day delivery;
  • overnight delivery; or
  • scheduled local runs,

depending on suburb, item size and order cut-off time.

Availability of local delivery services is subject to driver schedule, freight capacity and final confirmation by our team.

4. Oversized, Fragile or Special Freight Items

Large body parts, bulky items, fragile goods and certain oversized products may require:

  • manual freight quotation;
  • depot collection;
  • commercial address delivery; or
  • additional packaging and handling charges.

Standard website freight charges may not always apply to oversized or remote-area deliveries. If extra freight is required, we will contact you before dispatch.

5. Large Body Parts / Panels

While we take great care in packaging all goods, large body parts and panel items, including bumpers and similar oversized products, remain more vulnerable to transit damage due to their size and handling requirements. By placing an order for these items, you acknowledge that transit-related damage may occur. To help reduce the possibility of disputes, Fred Auto Parts will provide photos of the panel item for customer confirmation prior to dispatch.

6. Authority to Leave / Safe Delivery

If you provide authority to leave, goods will be left at the delivery address at your risk once delivered by the carrier.

If no authority to leave is given, a card may be left and re-delivery fees, storage fees or depot collection requirements may apply depending on the carrier.

7. Delivery Delays

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • courier or freight network disruptions;
  • weather events;
  • road closures;
  • peak seasonal demand;
  • public holidays;
  • incorrect address details; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

Customers must ensure that shipping details are complete and accurate.

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • an incorrect address;
  • failure to collect from depot;
  • refusal to accept delivery; or
  • repeated failed delivery attempts,

additional freight charges may apply before the order can be re-sent.

9. Damaged, Lost or Missing Freight

Please inspect your delivery as soon as possible after receiving it.

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete, or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us promptly with:

  • your invoice or order number;
  • photos of the outer packaging;
  • photos of the item received; and
  • a description of the issue.

Freight claims may be delayed or declined if the courier requires information that is no longer available, including original packaging.

10. International Delivery

Most international orders dispatched from Australia may take approximately 3–21 days, depending on destination, customs processing and carrier service level.

International delivery services may include:

  • TNT Air Express
  • Australia Post Express International
  • Australia Post Standard International
  • other international carriers selected by Fred Auto Parts

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, clearance fees or import charges imposed by the destination country.

11. Split Deliveries

Where an order contains multiple items, we may dispatch items separately if necessary. This may happen where:

  • items are stocked in different locations;
  • some items require different freight methods; or
  • part of the order is ready earlier than the rest.

12. Pickup Option

Pickup may be available for selected orders from our store or warehouse location where offered at checkout or confirmed by our team.

Customers collecting orders may be asked to provide:

  • invoice or order number;
  • customer name; and
  • photo identification where necessary.
